Being a volunteer backcountry Ski Patrol for the Mount Tahoma Trails places me into some pretty epic surroundings in the shadow of Mt. Rainier’s 14000 foot summit. I enjoy meeting all kinds of people from all walks of life cross country skiing and snowshoeing on the 50 miles of groomed trails to the four spacious Ski Huts. When the sun pops out and the snow is great, it’s a jaw dropping experience in paradise with a dose of adventure added in. This was filmed in full HD video using a GoPro Hero 2 camera.
